For years, discomfort associated with expecting a baby, such as pregnancy back pain, pregnancy pelvic pain, pregnancy sciatica and urinary incontinence was accepted as a normal part of the process. Today, many General Practitioners recommend Physiotherapy during pregnancy to relieve the discomfort experienced by pregnant women and to help prepare the body for an easier delivery and recovery process.
With over 15 years of experience, Deborah Fernandes who is a Chartered Physiotherapist in Women’s Health and Continence, has developed particular skills in managing pregnancy and postnatal related conditions.
