Meet our Team

Body Elements was founded by Luis Barbudo and Deborah Fernandes, who have over 14 years of experience in the health and exercise industry.

Highly trained instructors and practitioners are on hand to offer Chartered Physiotherapy, Advance Slimming Services, Massage, Pilates (including Antenatal and Postnatal Pilates), Yoga and a range of exercise classes from Monday to Saturday, at Body Elements clinic in the Beacon South Quarter, Sandyford.

Deborah Fernandes, MISCP

Clinical Director &
Chartered Physiotherapist

“My primary focus is you - you as a whole being. You,
who wishes to restore or improve your health through
a holistic approach, knowing that at all stages the clinical background is present to empower and support you in
your lifestyle changes, guiding you to better health.”

Deborah is a co-founder of Body Elements and a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 14 years of experience. She is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and the Portuguese Association of Physiotherapists. Her main areas of expertise are Women’s Health, Musculoskeletal and Lymphoedema Management. Deborah has a proven record of developing new clinics and introducing innovative services both in Ireland and Portugal. Her constant training in different areas of well-being complements her clinical experience, helping her to achieve excellent results with her patients.

Deborah also ensures the clinic’s high standards of service quality and customer service through regular training and supervision of all therapists.




Christina Reynolds

Operations Supervisor & Customer Service

Christina has many years of experience in customer service oriented administrative roles, making sure things run smoothly both at the front of house and behind the scenes. Originally from New York, Christina came to Ireland to complete her MA in Cultural Policy and Arts Management at UCD. Since completing her degree, Christina has been continuing to serve in diverse administrative capacities. Since June 2010, Christina has been happily working as part of the Body Elements team and looks forward to meeting new people and providing the best of customer care.



Karen Roberts, MISCP

Chartered Physiotherapist

" I am here to help to educate and rehabilitate you back to optimal function.  I take a holistic approach and tailor treatments to each individual so that your personal goals can be achieved."

 

Karen is a fully licensed and insured Chartered Physiotherapist.  She obtained her BSc. Hons Physiotherapy degree from Manchester Metropolitan University.  Prior to joining Body Elements in February 2011 she worked for East Lancashire NHS Trust as a rotational physiotherapist.  Karen is also a qualified kinesio taping therapist and a sports massage and remedial therapist with over 10years of experience under her belt.  As well as offering physiotherapy services in Body Elements she also teaches Pilates classes to mixed levels.  She qualified as a Pilates instructor in 2003 with Michael King in association with the National Training Centre, however she also trained with Michael King in the Pilates institute in London.




Deborah 'Jackie' Le Bidre

 "I know from first-hand experience how therapeutic massage can be, on many levels, and I find it deeply rewarding to be able to offer this service to my clients'

 

Deborah is fully qualified massage therapist member of the Complementary Therapists Association(CThA). 

Originally from France, Deborah studied Holistic, Sports & Therapeutic massage in Ireland where she learnt various techniques in remedial, deep tissue and sports massage. 

An empathetic listener, Deborah uphold the highest standards of discretion and professionalism at all times. 




Gráinne Coyle

Massage Therapist

 “As an Holistic Therapist, it is very important to me that I am helping the client on all levels, not solely the physical level, but fully on their healing path”

 

Gráinne is a fully qualified massage therapist. Including Aromatherapy Massage, Indian Head and Deep Tissue massage. She is a member of the Irish massage Therapist Association (IMTA)

Gráinne has a passion and enthusiasm with regard to Holistic Therapies and being a therapist, with the focus of providing professional care to all clients equally.
